The MTV European Music Awards 2007 took place in Munich, 1 November 2007. For 3 years now the award includes a new category: best african act. After 2Face won in 2005 followed by Freshly Ground from South Africa in 2006. This year Nigerian HipHop star D’banj took home the prestigious award.
